This contractor was referred to me by a very good friend who works in the construction
industry. Donley & Son was initially hired by me as a demolition crew. They were
knowledgeable with regards to what to take down and what not to take down, keeping
bearing walls and structural supports to the required building codes. Donley & Son also
had to be able to read building prints from the design architect from the first nail to the
last brush of paint. Because of their knowledge and experience as well as their work
ethic, I decided to hire them as the general contractor. Preparation is really important
and they did an outstanding job making sure that the work was done to ensure quality
results. Their dedication to the project was remarkable and they took full responsibility
and control of the project with respect to the subcontractors that they hired out. The
demolition, reconstruction, and renovation was a 3 year project. Problem solving was
one of their skills throughout the project as various situations arose. Their supply chain
for all the materials (wood, tile, steel, paint, etc.) was high quality. They followed
instructions well and I didn’t need to be supervising them all the time. This was a major
undertaking for any construction company, and I was very pleased with the end result. I
have before-and-after pictures that are worth a thousand words and illustrate the
amount of work that they did. I would highly recommend them for any home
construction, remodeling, or renovation projects.

Donley & Son was founded by the father and son duo, Mike and Derek. Their goal was quite simple, to
provide clients with the care for their project like it was their own. With 30 plus years in both industries,
painting, and construction, Mike taught everything he knew to Derek, and together they started to take
clients dreams and make them a reality and exceeding customers’ expectations. While it was the family
bond between Mike and Derek that ran the company for many years, in 2019 Mike passed away;
however, Derek wanted to continue their dream and continue to provide their customers with the same
great workmanship and accountability for every project. At Donley & Son our goal is when we leave your
home, office, or project, you are beyond happy, part of our Donley & Son family, and continue to work on many
